A: An introduction
- Please describe yourself in three sentences, one of them regarding your current studies.
My name is Vasilis Goumas and I am 18 years old.Currently, I am studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at National Technical University of Athens,with an inclination towards programming,mathematics and computer science.I have a proficient knowledge of English and German and of course, Greek.I am an avid music listener and enjoy watching movies.
- Why do you want to participate in the Google Summer of Code? What do you hope to gain by doing so?
By participating in the Google Summer of Code, I hope to touch up my programming skills as well as my mathematical knowledge on the field of Arithmetic Analysis.I have had no previous experience with Google Summer of Code before,but thats going to change!
- Why are you choosing Octave?
My reasons for choosing Octave is that I love mathematics and I would be very glad to have the chance to implement relevant features and aiding the development of an open-source mathematical toolkit.
