Get up to speed on how Octave as a language works, Familiarize myself with how the interpreter, the C++ interface works. Familiarize myself with the tools availible within and outside of the Octave program that pertain to my specific project. Familiarize myself and plan the functions that I will be implementing. Find appropriate libraries that I will need for my project. Begin writing code for my project.
Begin working on programming.
 
May 23 -27: make descision as to what specific tools and libraries will be used for the project.
 
June 11-15:Have some of the smaller functions that do not require an outside library (polysplit, polyjoin) implemented and ready for bugtesting and documenting. Have made some progress on incorporating the chosen clipping library


June 11-15:Have a rough implementation of some of the functions finished.
