I wonder why this information is so difficult to find and why it is not prominently written on the project page: | |||
The parallel package seems to NOT run under Windows due to lack of some system components. | |||

Also while I do not exactly got the content of the postings, things look like | |||

It is really a pity that Octave cannot use multiple cores under windows ..... | |||
