First two days are dedicated to Octave newbies, especially students, who may want help getting started with an Octave installation and possibly with a dev setup if they're interested in getting involved with development. June 6 - June 8 are dedicated to code sprints and development. Participants are encouraged to stay for all five days, but may choose to attend only one or the other depending on their interests.
