I just had a conversation with Kurt Hornik, the original author of EOS. Turns out it's been decades since he last used Octave and he's also no longer the maintainer of EOS. Furthermore, the information provided in this article are severely outdated since the code given here will prevent major functionalities from working. I propose someone who actually knows his stuff update this page. | |||

Outdated Information[edit]
I just had a conversation with Kurt Hornik, the original author of EOS. Turns out it's been decades since he last used Octave and he's also no longer the maintainer of EOS. Furthermore, the information provided in this article are severely outdated since the code given here will prevent major functionalities from working. I propose someone who actually knows his stuff update this page. --Pythagoras (talk) 09:07, 25 April 2018 (PDT)
